What is Summer Funk?

Summer Funk is SHIAMAK's iconic annual dance class batch that ends with a grand stage show. It's 10 sessions of training where students learn, build confidence, and perform in front of a live audience.

What is this year's theme?

This year's theme is Fusion of Eras! The final show is designed like a glamorous applause, with every student getting their star moment on stage.

When do batches start?

Batches begin from 15th April 2026 across Mumbai. Each city has multiple venues and timings to choose from.

How much are the fees?

How many classes do we get?

10 classes (twice a week) leading up to the final Summer Funk show.

Who are the instructors?

Each venue has trained SHIAMAK instructors. For example, at Nana Chowk it's Alene/Suki/Deepraj, at Juhu it's Jay/Yash/Greeta, and so on. Exact venue-wise instructor details are provided upon registration.

Are costumes included in the fees?

No. Costumes are charged separately. Charges vary depending on choreography. Parents/participants will be informed in advance.

What if the venue is too far?

We encourage you to attend at least the first class and then decide. Most students fall in love with the experience right away. We are also exploring a Razorpay provision to let you book just the first class in advance, so you can try it without missing your chance.

How many students in each batch?

It depends on the venue's hall capacity (20–50 approx.). But we always ensure students get proper attention and guidance.

What if I'm unsure about joining?

It's normal to feel unsure. Summer Funk is not just dance—it's a confidence-boosting journey that ends with a grand stage show. Many hesitant parents/students later said it became their highlight of the year. We suggest you try the first class—you'll see how enjoyable it is!
