Shiraz D'Mello

Starting dance in 1990, Shiraz has taught for over 30 years to all ages and different skill levels. Her ability to break down movements and create body awareness makes her an experienced and very competent dance instructor.

Shiraz started teaching in Mumbai in 1992 and went on to train Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in 2000 for the Ms. World contest's talent rounds. As a lead dancer in the Shiamak Davar Dance Company in Mumbai, Shiraz performed for numerous entertainment and corporate shows in India, Egypt, China, USA, Canada, and the Bahamas, including the prestigious IIFA Awards in Malaysia, Macau, Amsterdam, and Tampa.

She has danced for numerous award shows with Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Rani Mukherjee, Emraan Hashmi and Akshay Kumar.

Trained by Shiamak and having worked alongside him for Dil To Pagal Hai and Taal, Shiraz also trained Madhuri Dixit, Karishma Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai for choreography in those films. Besides DTPH and Taal, she has danced in Bunty Aur Babli, Dhoom 2 and I See You.
