Rishav Agarwal
Instructor
Rishav is an instructor at Shiamak USA who brings a high-energy, disciplined approach to the studio, having trained with the company since early 2023. By January 2025, he stepped into his role as an instructor, and he has since been teaching classes across New Jersey and New York City. Specializing in a dynamic fusion of Hip Hop, House, and Bollywood, Rishav delivers sessions that are as technical as they are spirited.
Rishav’s performance career began at age 12 and has spanned across continents. As a member of an undergraduate Indo-Jazz team in India, he traveled to multiple cities, successfully
competing and winning at the collegiate level. Even while pursuing a Master’s in Computer
Science in New York City, he remained a force in the dance community, joining his university’s Hip Hop team and featuring in a dance video directed by the renowned Lauren Gottlieb.
A relentless student of the arts, Rishav consistently trains to sharpen his skills across all
disciplines, including Contemporary and Shiamak Style. While navigating a 9-5 career, he
maintains a rigorous professional-level training schedule five days a week. As both an instructor and a lifelong learner, Rishav is dedicated to helping his students find their own rhythm, proving that technical precision and creative passion go hand in hand.
